Materials Used at Aerospace Manufacturing, Inc.:

High strength, super alloy materials:

• Titanium: Renowned for its high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and ability to withstand extreme temperatures, titanium is a preferred choice for aerospace applications due to its lightweight yet durable properties.
• Inconel: This nickel-chromium alloy is prized for its excellent resistance to high temperatures and corrosion, making it ideal for use in aircraft engine components, exhaust systems, and structural parts.
• Waspaloy™: A nickel-based superalloy known for its high strength, excellent creep resistance, and thermal stability, Waspaloy finds widespread use in turbine engine components such as blades and discs.
• A-286: This precipitation-hardening stainless steel alloy offers high strength and excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures, making it a preferred material for aerospace fasteners requiring robust properties.
• MP35N: Known for its exceptional strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance, MP35N is often employed in aerospace applications that demand high performance under extreme conditions.

• 17-4PH: This precipitation-hardening stainless steel boasts high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and good mechanical properties, making it suitable for aerospace applications requiring both strength and corrosion resistance.
• PH13-8Mo: A precipitation-hardening stainless steel alloy with high strength, good corrosion resistance, and excellent transverse toughness, PH13-8Mo finds application in aerospace structural components and landing gear.
• Stainless 300 and 400 Series: Renowned for their corrosion resistance, strength, and versatility, stainless steels from the 300 and 400 series are commonly used in aerospace fasteners for their durability and resistance to oxidation and staining.
• Alloy Steel (4140, 4340, 8740): Alloy steels, including variants like 4140, 4340, and 8740, feature enhanced mechanical properties and wear resistance, making them suitable for aerospace applications requiring high strength and durability.
